Storytime

They have had some fun storytimes here at the library. The first one we went to was about science and they did the erupting volcano and jumping raisins. Lanette totally loved it. They announced that the next week was going to be the snakeman. This guy who brings a whole bunch of snakes and talks about each one. I thought Lanette would be like no way, but she was all for seeing the "snakeman". She LOVED IT! This guy spent like and hour and a half talking about different snakes and she was glued to him and the snakes he was showing them. Then at the end he let people come and touch the snakes and she was so excited about the big yellow one - it was her favorite! Even Parker was willing to touch the snake and he isn't usually big on animals. Lanette couldn't stop talking about it and even kept talking about how snakes are nice and they are our friends!
