What's happening with us!

Here are a few of the fun things we've been doing and some of the changes that are coming up!

We had a little family retreat in a condo (thanks again to Vicki!) at Bear Lake over Aaron's spring break. It was a lot of doing crafts together (like spin art and sock puppets), swimming, and just relaxing. We decided to make it our first annual family reunion and the kids totally loved that we had a family cheer and matching lion t-shirts!

It sounded crazy at first, but we decided to drive to Weiser for General Conference and Easter weekend. Luckily Aaron's school schedule allowed us to leave on Thursday night and come home Monday morning. We even got to celebrate my mom's birthday. This was a first for our kids to have Easter with their Idaho cousins and it was a blast! They especially loved the "candy store" where all the kids create a little pile of their candy and then they go around and trade for their favorites!

Gracie is growing up so fast! Here she is showing off her cheesy grin next to her handsome cousins. She is walking now and she is such a social little girl and we are discovering that she has quite a strong will! Oh, and she is a little tease. She will do things to the other kids just to get a reaction out of them. I can't believe that personality trait is showing up already. She is such a little sweetie and she makes us all smile!

This picture tells a few stories. First Aaron is super hot and getting more fit by the day! With everything going on at school and the job search he decided around Christmas time that he was going to focus on getting in shape. 5 months later and he is still just as dedicated! He found a job! We'll be living in the Salt Lake area and we are so grateful. We'll finally have an income again and we get to stay close to family - what more could we ask for? Second story - That is a nest in our "fake" Christmas treet. We put it on the back porch for a few months and when Aaron started getting ready to move it he noticed the nest. It was pretty hilarious.

We celebrate mother's day a little early (so it isn't too close to my birthday) and this was my "surprise mother's day"! They sang about "flowers of blue" and each gave me a blue flower. Pretty sweet huh? I could spend a while gushing about my thoughtful husband right now, but if you've ever met him then you already know!

Here are a few more fun pictures!
