We got some free tickets to the Iowa Children's Museum from the summer reading program at the library and the kids had a blast! It is about an hour from Muscatine and it is located in a great mall. It was the most family friendly mall I've ever been to. The best part - just as we were getting ready to go into the museum Aaron handed me some cash and told me to go get a manicure and a pedicure while he took the kids in. I should have taken a picture of my cute toes! It was so relaxing hanging out in a massage chair and flipping through a magazine while soaking my feet. Ahh. So sweet!
These are a few of my favorites -

Aaron later reported that the kids loved the grocery store, playing doctor and especially pretending to be ballerina's (Parker will probably want these pictures destroyed...)

Cute! And what a nice surprise to be sent for your own "me time." :)
ReplyDeleteThere's a great children's museum that sounds really similar at the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake. The grocery store there seemed to be the biggest hit as well.
