Jungle Jim's and more

Jungle Jim's is in Sandy and is a small indoor amusement park. All of the rides are for young kids so even Hazel could go on them - at least as a passenger.

Hazel really loved the swing and the roller coaster (below).  It was fun to see her huge grin!

We also went to the Aquarium in Sandy - these penguins are my favorite! They were diving and jumping all over the place.  It was awesome!
We also got to visit our friends in Cedar Hills and see their new house! The Zabriskie's are so fun - we can't wait to hang out again!
It was such an awesome week - of course we were all totally exhausted by the end of the week, but it was totally worth it!  The kids thought our "staycation" was just as much fun as a real vacation.

Hogle Zoo

The elephants were getting some food and so they were really active - isn't the little guy in the background cute?
We haven't been to the Zoo since they added the new Polar bear exhibit - it was awesome! This guy was pushing off the window and then swimming back and forth. It was so fun to see it swimming underneath the water.

34

Aaron just turned 34!  We spent the whole week celebrating! One thing he really wanted to do on his Birthday was eat breakfast at Mimi's Cafe. They have the best hot chocolate and muffins! We all went in our PJ's and slippers!
The kids had a blast a Chuck E. Cheese.

Dinner at Cafe Rio...still our favorite after like 11 years.

Aaron always requests homemade cheesecake for his birthday cake - it was super delicious.  He had 4 candles so the kids could each blow one out.

Huntsville Park

We stopped in Huntsville and had dinner and then played at the awesome park across the street.  I loved that this park had huge pine trees around it and some of the old school metal toys as well as newer stuff too.

We stopped and got these cute little cupcakes at a place in Ogden on the way home.
 The Dino Park!

The kids loved that it was all decked out with Halloween decorations.

Causey Dam

While the kids were off track we decided to have a "staycation" and just do things around here that would be super fun! We had such a blast. We hit Chuck E. Cheese, the Dinosaur Park, Causey Dam, a park in Huntsville, Hogle Zoo, Jungle Jim's, and the Aquarium.

Here are some pictures from Causey Reservior - the water level was really low, but it was so beautiful!

Black Island Farms

Gracie had a field trip at Black Island Farms and the kids were all off track so when we all got ready we tried little pony tails in Hazel's hair - so adorable!
Gracie showing off her preschool t-shirt.

We got to take a hay ride and then the kids got to choose a pumpkin!

This is my favorite picture! I love how excited she was about the corn and how the corn is flying all over the place.
